How to Control Our Mind?
Yes... Our mind easily move towards negative things and thoughts in fact it searches negative emotions by own. Whenever we are free our mind automatically start to think and it's natural. But it depends on what kind of thoughts are coming to our mind. If the thoughts are negative, that will destroy our life and if the thoughts are positive, that will improve the quality of our life.
Just think, if your mind has filled with negative thoughts how will you react to every single circumstances. Let's see a small example, if your younger sister or brother has took your mobile and by mistake it fell down and it had some cracks on the screen, but still the mobile is working proper. What will be your first reaction? You shout at her/him a lot, most of the time you slap them, gets furious at them. You don't think that you too could have made this mistake. What you do when it comes to you? Nothing, we forgive ourselves but why can't we forgive our younger. It's only because you have no control on your mind which is filled with negative emotions. Later on, this may affect our relationships.
"You have to learn to control your mind, otherwise your mind will start controlling you."
Guruji has manifested a wonderful idea through which we can overcome with all our negative thoughts and emotions and it's BREATH. He says, if we have control on our breath then we can easily control our mind. So, it's necessary to control our breath and it's possible only through Pranayama. If there is consistency we can definitely achieve what we want. But we can't directly control our mind, it's not possible. The only thing we can do is stay focused, and automatically our mind will be under our control.
We get more focused when we are doing the things we love. If one likes to paint, he will stay more focused at his work. Because he has an interest in painting and love brings focus along with it. If one don't love his work and not interested at all, he can't stay focused. To create interest and stay focused one has to take help of breath. Breath can help mind focus.
Your mind is always in search of pleasure. It don't know what's good for us and what's bad. If you gave chance to your mind to have a control, it will destroy you and it will bring a enormous tragedy in your life. It's better you should learn to control your mind.
